Silvia Pavan is a Ph.D. fellow in the Sexuality and Interpersonal Relationships Research Group at the Department of Public Health, University of Copenhagen. She is currently completing her Ph.D. in a joint programme between the Graduate Programme of Public Health and Epidemiology at the University of Copenhagen under the supervision of Dr. Gert Martin Hald, and the Faculty of Health at Deakin University (Melbourne, Australia) under the supervision of Dr. David Austin, with a focus on mental health and register–based epidemiology. Prior to joining the group, Silvia earned a Master’s degree in Global Health at the University of Copenhagen. Her research interests primarily concern the spheres of mental and sexual health, and social and register-based epidemiology.
